The African Love Bird Society is dedicated to the preservation, exhibition, and breeding of the nine species of the genus Agapornis, known as love birds (lovebirds).
The Avicultural Society of Australia supports its members in the breeding and conservation of aviary held birds. It has nearly 2000 members throughout Australia and overseas.
